The fifth avenue National Basketball Association Headquarters features a café and double-height event space designed to the proportions of a regulation basketball court. The two program areas are divided at the half-court line, each side distinguished by a dark and light finish motif. The eastern event side consists of a bright, open area with dynamic white plus color architectural fixtures to provide flexibility for special events. In contrast, the darker more intimate café side is anchored by a custom pendant light fixture fabricated to the exact size and scale of regulation basketball court lines.
