Anushka’s work as a lighting designer and artist communicates the way light captures the spectrum of human emotions. She strongly believes that lighting has the ability to render different possibilities into reality through the art of storytelling, and is inspired by the effect lighting has on people’s moods.
She worked on multimedia art in retail and commercial spaces in Bangalore, India before transitioning into the realm of lighting. In 2020, she joined Parsons School of Design where she served as President of the LUX student lighting association. She is an active member of the Flint Collective, contributing as a Light Artist focused on public-facing installations. Anushka’s diverse design background allows her to bring fresh perspective and technical expertise to a wide range of project types.
