ALYSSA VEGA
Designer, New York
Alyssa graduated at the top of her class in engineering as a published researcher, but left it behind to chase her true passion - lighting design. Light’s emotive, physical, and even spiritual qualities make it both a science to master and an art medium to endlessly explore. Alyssa’s technical trainings and creative mind allow her to leverage light as both science and art form to elevate the built environment.
Alyssa was sponsored by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) to attend Enlighten Americas 2018 in Seattle, WA, and won a Parsons School of Design Graduate Research Stipend to attend Light + Building 2020 in Frankfurt, Germany. Her proactive and detail-oriented character makes her a valuable addition to any team as she seeks to provide innovative and elegant lighting solutions for clients.
